Balakrishna & Co., is a midsized firm of chartered accountants in Wilson Garden,Bangalore, India, established in the year 1988. We have been rendering a multitude of services over the past 30 years, especially in the field of back office management services, statutory audit under company act, tax audit under income tax act, direct and indirect tax consultation, international taxation, NRI taxation, corporate law, management consultancy, matters relating to FEMA, mergers and acquisitions, and other allied areas.

Our Founder

Dr. P. Balakrishna Shetty, B.Com, M.A, LL.B, FCA, FCS, Ph.D.

He is the founder of the firm. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a graduate in Commerce and Law. He is also a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. The founder chose a different path in life and in the year 2010, he went into monastic life with the name Swami Vivekachaithyananda. He has renounced all worldly ties and has dedicated himself completely for the Holy Cause. He is the founder of Ramakrishna Tapovan www.ramakrishnatapovan.org at Polali, Mangalore District, Karnataka.

He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a graduate in Commerce. He has secured 3rd Rank in Graduation. Before joining this firm in 2006, he served in the industry for 11 years. His experience is spread across various fields such as NRI taxation, Income Tax assessments, setting up of new projects, project appraisals, property tax matters, etc. He is also a qualified Registered Valuer for Securities or Financial Assets (SFA)

CA S. V. Prakasha, B.Com, FCA, DISA (ICAI)

He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a graduate in Commerce. He has rich experience in the field of taxation laws, company law, auditing, corporate finance, etc.

He is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a graduate in Business Management. He served in Deloitte, Bangalore and has expertise in Statutory Audits, Internal Audits and Corporate Governance Audits. He has served in the Industry for nearly 2 years before joining the firm in 2013. He has vast experience in Internal Audits, IND AS, Transfer Pricing study and reporting, etc.

CS Prashant Hegde B Com ACS

He is a Company Secretary in Whole Time Practice having sound knowledge of practical aspect as well as working with Corporates. He has extensive knowledge in setting up of Subsidiaries of Foreign Companies and its Branches in India. Further he has sound working knowledge on Closure of Companies, LLP’s, setting up of Indian Companies etc. Along with Secretarial Services he also practices in the areas of Foreign Investment, RBI Compliance etc.

CA Hari Sai, FCA

He has over 8 years of professional experience. He secured All India Rank 30 in CA Intermediate and All India Rank 29 in CMA. He is a Big-4 (EY) alumnus and has also gained industry exposure at Larsen & Toubro. He specializes in Corporate Taxation, Statutory and Internal Audits, Internal Financial Controls, and advisory assignments.

CA Pavan Pal Sharma, B.Com, ACA

He is a chartered accountant specializing in equity mobilization and financial structuring, back office management and CFO services. He has secured All India 3rd Rank in CA Final Examination, 30th Rank in CA Intermediate Examination and 7th Rank in CA entrance Examination.

CS Vighnesh Bhat, B.Com, ACS

He is a practicing Company Secretary. He has good exposure in company law, trade mark, and corporate secretarial work.

CA Narasimha Raju, B.Com, FCA

He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a graduate in Commerce. He is in practice since 2012 and he specializes in audits and assurance of manufacturing companies, government and bank audits.

CA Vinay K. V. B Com, FCA

He is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, having over 12 years of experience. He worked in Big 4 and other top consulting firms. He specializes in GST, Foreign Trade Policy, Central Exercise, Serviced Tax, Tax Technology, and Project Management. He handles compliance and litigation matters in Tribunals, Appellate authorities, PRC, AAR, etc. He also Co-Authored Books on Central Excise, Service Tax and has presented papers at various forums/study circles. He is also a faculty and a Mentor for CA, CS, and CMA Students.

CA Rashmi Bhide, B.Com, ACA

She is an Associate Member of ICAI since 2012. Worked as a Divisional Manager at SSB & Associates for 1.5 years, before joining the practice. She has experience in the field of Accounting, Auditing and Taxation including Preparation of Financials, Tax Audit, Filing of IT Returns and other statutory filings for Individuals and Companies, Attending Scrutiny Assessments, Preparation of CA Certificates and Annual return filing for LLP.
